The Audi the luxury unit of Volkswagen, maker of top-of-the-line VW Golf parts will hold the Audi Quattro Cup at the Millenium Lakes Golf and Country Club in Trincity on June 2. As a price the winner will get the $330,000 Audi A4 Sedan on one of the 11th holes for the main draw of the Cup s Country Final.

The said tournament is to be participated by 92 golfers on 46 two-man teams that will qualify to tee off against the world s best golfers at the 17th staging of the Audi Quattro Cup World Final which will be held at the world class resort Palmina Golf Club in Los Cabos, Mexico between November 15 and 19.

First of all, most U.S. drivers already carry auto insurance which will provide full or partial protection while driving a rental car (within certain dollar limits and coverage only for rentals within the United States and, sometimes, Canada). Some insurance policies only cover cars rented while your own car is being repaired, while most do not cover certain types of vehicles, like luxury cars or vans. Check your own personal policy for these limitations and exclusions.

Even with these limitations, your personal auto insurance will be the primary source of coverage if you have an accident or suffer injury while driving a rental car. Other types of coverage, such as credit card policies and the rental company’s optional

insurance offered at the time of the booking, will be subrogated. This means it will not apply until you have reached the maximum of your own auto insurance coverage. Also, be aware that your personal auto insurance rates may increase if you file a claim for damaging a rental car.

As a member of a car club I often wonder what inspires others like myself to join such an organization. Certainly the cameraderie, the sense of being part of a big family, is an important factor. The club I belong to is devoted to all Volkswagens, old and new. The question for others fascinated with these cars is, What got us interested in Volkswagens in the first place? There are probably as many stories of inspiration as there are dandelions in my front yard every Spring. With that said, here is mine.

Cranbrook, BC, is home to the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel and is the largest city and service center in the East Kootenay region. Many parts of the city date from 1898 and self-guided walking tours are available with maps obtainable from the Chamber of Commerce, or from the Museum.

The Canadian Pacific Railway played a major role in the development of Cranbrook. Much of the original railway infrastructure built in Cranbrook still survives, providing a good context for the development of the Railway Museum.

Adventure Island is a thriving little park, not strictly a theme park, but an adventure park. It is situated in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. A free admission fun park with a variety of attractions, although you do, of course, have to pay for the rides.

Adventure Island, which used to be known as Peter Pan’s Playground, has been growing and thriving since it was bought back in 1976. A major turning point in the history of the park was the construction of the east side in 1995 which now houses Rage and Beelzee Bob’s Trail. Rage is one of four roller coasters in the park.
